Zeotap, a leading European customer intelligence platform and a core portfolio company of Ioniq Group, has announced the sale of its third-party audience data business, Zeotap-Data, to Roqad, Europe’s largest identity aggregator. This strategic divestment allows Zeotap to focus its resources and innovation entirely on its rapidly growing Customer Data Platform (CDP) business.

The acquisition by Roqad includes Zeotap-Data’s extensive third-party audience segments and its exclusive integrations, including its unique position within the Amazon DSP. For Zeotap, the move marks a transition into a pure-play CDP provider, positioning the company to capitalize on the increasing demand for privacy-first, first-party data management solutions in a cookieless digital landscape.

While Zeotap-Data will continue to operate as a standalone brand under Roqad’s ownership, the two companies have entered into an exclusive partnership. This agreement ensures that Zeotap’s CDP customers will continue to benefit from “Audience Boost”—a leading audience expansion solution—powered by Roqad’s identity graph technology.

“This sale allows us to focus 100% of our efforts on our CDP customers and capabilities, strengthening our position as the leading CDP in Europe,” said Elad Simon, CEO of Zeotap. “The partnership with Roqad ensures our clients maintain a competitive edge through world-class audience expansion while we double down on our core platform innovation.”

Shackleton’s Victoria Fund acquired its interest in Ioniq Group, an investor in Zeotap, in 2024.  Deborah Hudson serves on Zeotap’s Advisory Board.
